Dominique's first experience with the beauty industry was as a little girl, accompanying her mother to her hair appointments. She was intrigued and loved seeing how happy her mother would feel whenever she visited her hair stylist, Regina. Sensing her fascination, Regina gave Dominique combs and rollers so that she could “practice” on her dolls.

And that's where the inspiration and enthusiasm began. Over the years, Dominique absorbed a lot watching her mother and the other women get their hair done. Regina was generous with teaching and guidance. As Dominique matured into a young woman, she knew that Cosmetology was her calling and had a passion for it, so she attended the Bullard Havens Technical High School in Connecticut. There, as an academic high school student, Dominique began her training in Cosmetology. Once she graduated high school and became a licensed Cosmetologist, Dominique immediately went to work for Regina, her old family friend and mentor. But understanding the importance of a well-rounded education, while working for Regina, Dominique also attended college graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a focus in art and science.

Now, after more than a decade of being involved in the beauty industry, it is safe to say that Dominique has developed her own amazing style! She has a passion for making others happy and also creatively expressing herself artistically with both hair and makeup.  Her work has been published in magazines and featured on television; and Dominique has also been introduced to the fashion industry during New York Fashion Week. Dominique specializes in all things beauty … hair styling, cutting, coloring, hair extensions, lash extensions, makeup application, bridal and more.

Dominique’s ultimate goal is to continue doing what she loves while providing a relaxing, luxurious, happy experience for her guests in her very own salon one day as well as being able to stay involved in the beauty and fashion industry. For now she is thrilled to be a business owner doing mobile services and happy to  be part of an amazing and inspiring industry of  talent!
